Ida B Wells baseball has a tradition of providing our players with an opportunity to have an outstanding experience. Yearly fundraisers such as the annual pancake breakfast (returning for 2022), youth camps, outfield signs and game day sponsors only cover a portion of what we need to maintain our fields and facilities such as the batting cage and our indoor cage located in the gym. Our program is responsible for maintaining not only Clopton Field at IBW, but also the 90' diamond at Jackson Middle School. This past year we added new dugout benches, several 8x8 portable screens, a new riding lawn mower, and we are in the process of installing a new sound system.
